The Idaho Smoke ‘n’ Fire 400 is a 400ish mile self-supported mountain bike route traversing some of Idaho’s diverse geography on two-track, big gravel and dirt Forest Service roads, challenging singletrack, some hike-a-bike and a few paved roads.
Our annual event will begins, and ends, in downtown Boise in historic Hyde Park.
There is no registration fee, no support and no prize money. Live tracking of the event will be provided by Trackleaders.
The Smoke ‘n’ Fire route travels through remote areas, however, there are sufficient resupply opportunities available. Besides the physical challenge there are mental challenges to this route.
This is a self-supported event so please read the rules and be prepared for the unexpected.
The ride departs from 13th and Eastman in Hyde Park.
